The Cercle Dramatique Français de Londres is a London-based theatre group that produces plays in French twice a year in the London area for the French community and the Francophiles.
The troupe consists mainly of native French actors, producing stage productions from French theatre classics and various successful contemporary modern works from various playwrights. In October 2007, the CDF performed “L’Ile des Esclaves” by classic French author Marivaux in front of a packed house at the Bhavan Theatre, West Kensington. |
